5.4.3 SATAConguration
While entering Setup, the BIOS automatically detects the presence of SATA devices. The
SATA Port items show
Not Present
if no SATA device is installed to the corresponding SATA
port.

This allows you to enable or disable the SATA Device. Conguration options: [Enabled]

SATA Mode Selection [AHCI]
This allows you to choose how SATA controller(s) should operate. Conguration options:

Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology (S.M.A.R.T.) is a monitor system. When
read/write of your hard disk errors occur, this feature allows the hard disk to report warning
