2. Examine the chassis and ensure
the bay space is free from wires
and other obstructions.

Rotate the HDD module cage latch
counterclockwise until it is at a

angle.

the bay.

5. As you insert the HDD module
cage, the latch will swing
clockwise.
6. Lock the cage latch properly.
2.6.2 (Optional) Installing the second HDD module cage
This server supports up to eight SAS hard disk drives by installing a second HDD
module cage and an ASUS PIKE RAID card.
1. Remove the screw of the front
plate. Remove the front plate from
the server chassis by swinging it
outward.
