“Schemes” Advanced
On the Schemes page, you can also save “Video
Modes” (resolution and color) and launch an appli-
cation.
Because many videos still use 640x480 to decrease
file size and appear a little dark, I will set up a new
scheme for watching videos.
In my example here, I clicked on Brighter scheme,
added 640 by 480, browse to Windows Media Player,
selected Reset on Exit, and clicked the New button
to save the scheme as “Media Player.” I can then click
Invoke to test out my settings. When satisfactory, I
close Media Player and close the Display Properties
windows.
Quick Launching a Scheme
To launch my schemes, I simply right-click on my
desktop and click the scheme I want. A smile comes
to my face as I watch some movies provided free on
the Internet.
