4.3 Internal connectors
1. Serial ATA connectors (7-pin SATA1–2 [Blue])
These connectors, controlled by Intel
®
C602 chipset, are for the Serial ATA
signal cables for Serial ATA hard disk drives (SATA 5 connector for optical
drive use by default).

2. ISAS1 and ISATA1 connectors
The ISAS1 connector supports four SATA 3Gb/s ports.
Connect to ISAS1 <SCU> connector to support four SATA 3Gb/s hard disk
drives (HDD1-HDD4).
Connect to ISATA <AHCI> connector to support 2 x SATA 6Gb/s (HDD1/
HDD2) and 2 x SATA 3Gb/s (HDD3/HDD4)
The actual data transfer rate depends on the speed of SAS/SATA hard disks
installed.
