1.6.5 PCH Storage Conguration
While entering Setup, the BIOS automatically detects the presence of SATA devices. The
SATA Port items show Empty if no SATA device is installed to the corresponding SATA port.
Scroll down to display the other BIOS items.
SATA Controller(s)
This item allows you to enable or disable the SATA Device.
Conguration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
The following item appears only when you set the SATA Controller(s) to [Enabled].
SATA Mode Selection
This item allows you to set the SATA operation mode. Conguration options: [AHCI] [Intel
RST With Intel Optane System Acceleration]
Aggressive LPM Support
This item allows you to enable or disable PCH entering link power state aggressively
Conguration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
SMART Self Test
SMART (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology) is a monitoring system that
shows a warning message during POST (Power-on Self Test) when an error occurs in the
hard disks. Conguration options: [On] [Off]
