Safety information • Before setting up the monitor, carefully read all the documentation that came with the package. • To prevent fire or shock hazard, never expose the monitor to rain or moisture. • Never try to open the monitor cabinet. The dangerous high voltages inside the monitor may result in serious physical injury. • If the power supply is broken, do not try to fix it by yourself. Contact a qualified service technician or your retailer.
Care & Cleaning • Before you lift or reposition your monitor, it is better to disconnect the cables and power cord. Follow the correct lifting techniques when positioning the monitor. When lifting or carrying the monitor, grasp the edges of the monitor. Do not lift the display by the stand or the cord. • Cleaning. Turn your monitor off and unplug the power cord. Clean the monitor surface with a lint-free, non-abrasive cloth. Stubborn stains may be removed with a cloth dampened with mild cleaner.

Chapter 1: 1.1 Product introduction Welcome! Thank you for purchasing the ASUS® OLED monitor! The latest widescreen OLED monitor from ASUS provides a crisper, broader, and brighter display, plus a host of features that enhance your viewing experience. With these features, you can enjoy the convenience and delightful visual experience that the monitor brings to you! 1.

Power Button/Power Indicator: • Turn the monitor on/off. • The color definition of the power indicator is as the below table.
1.3.2 Back view 1 6 2 7 3 8 7 4 7 5 1. Earphone jack: This port connects to an earphone. 2. HDMI ports: These ports are for connection with an HDMI compatible device. 3. DisplayPort in: This port is for connection with a DisplayPort compatible device. The default setting of DisplayPort Stream in the OSD menu is DisplayPort 1.4. You can change it to DisplayPort 1.1 when your device output signal is DisplayPort 1.1. 4. Power switch: Press the switch to turn on/off power. 5.
1.3.3 QuickFit Plus Function The QuickFit Plus function contains 4 types of patterns: (1) Safe Area (2) Center Marker (3) Customization (4) Ruler. To activate the patterns, press the QuickFit Plus button. Use the Menu (5-way) button to select a desired pattern. You can move the button up/down/left/right to change the pattern’s position if needed. Note that only Customization pattern can be adjusted its frame size according to your need, but may have limited range for moving left/right/up/down. 1.
2. Center Marker Selects the center marker type. The selections are: Type 1 Type 2 Type 3 3. Customization You can decide the frame size by moving the Menu (5-way) button up/down/ left/right. You can press the Menu (5-way) button for longer than 3 seconds to switch the measurements between millimeter and inch.
4. Ruler This pattern presents physical ruler on top and left side. You can press the Menu (5-way) button for longer than 3 seconds to switch the measurements between metric and imperial. 5 10 15 20 25 30 35 40 45 50 55 60 65 5 10 15 20 25 30 35 1.3.4 Other Function(s) 1. HDR The monitor supports HDR format. When detecting HDR content, an “HDR ON” message will pop up and display the Information page. HDR content is not supported when the PIP/PBP mode is on.
1.3.5 Color Calibration Users can use the ProArt tool with the color sensor that is embedded on the top of the monitor for color calibration. Ensure that the protective film on the color sensor has been removed before using the color sensor for calibration. 1. Open the ProArt tool to activate the color sensor to perform the color calibration. The color sensor starts moving from its original position towards the screen. 2.
Chapter 2: 2.1 Setup Adjusting the mini stands To adjust the mini stands: 1. Carefully take the monitor out of the box. Hold the monitor firmly and do not press on the panel screen when lifting to avoid any accidental damage (Figure 1). 2. Have the front of the monitor face down on a table (Figure 2). 3. Rotate the mini stands by 90 degrees away from the bottom of the monitor (Figure 3).
2.2 Attaching the stand (arm/base) To assemble the stand: 1. Carefully take the monitor out of the box. Hold the monitor firmly and do not press on the panel screen when lifting to avoid any accidental damage (Figure 1). 2. Have the front of the monitor face down on a table. Then using a paperclip (or similar item), remove the rubbers covering the screw holes (Figure 2). 3. Install the arm and secure it using the screws (Figure 3). 4. Attach the base to the arm.
2.3 Detaching the stand (for VESA wall mount) The detachable stand of this monitor is specially designed for VESA wall mount. To detach the stand: 1. Have the front of the monitor face down on a table. 2. Remove the screws securing the stand to the monitor. Then remove the stand (Figure 1). (Figure 1) • • • • We recommend that you cover the table surface with soft cloth to prevent damage to the monitor. When the panel screen is facing down, be careful not to damage the Menu (5-way) button.
2.4 Installing the monitor hood You can install the monitor hood to reduce glare or reflection. To install the monitor hood: 2-4 1. By aligning the embedded screws on the side cover with the side screw holes, lift the hood side cover fully upward, and hold it into place. Then secure the side cover by partial tighten the screws to fix its position. Repeat the same step to install another side cover (Figure 1). 2. Remove the rubbers securing the top screw holes (Figure 1). 3.

2.5 Installing the cable clips Use the cable clips to manage the connected cables. To install the cable clips: 1. Using a paperclip (or similar item), remove the rubbers covering the screw holes (Figure 1). 2. By aligning the screw hole (marked by blue line) and the guide pin (marked by the pink line) of the cable clip with the screw holes, install the clip to its designated location on the rear of the monitor. Then secure the cable clip with the screw (Figure 2).
2.6 Adjusting the monitor • For optimal viewing, we recommend that you look at the full face of the monitor, then adjust the monitor to the angle that is most comfortable for you. • Hold the stand to prevent the monitor from falling when you change its angle. • You can adjust the monitor’s angle from -5˚~+23˚, and it allows 30˚ swivel adjustment from either left or right. You can also adjust the monitor’s height within 130 mm.
Pivoting the monitor 1. Lift the monitor to the highest position. 2. Tilt the monitor to its maximum angle. 3. Pivot the monitor to the angle you need. 90˚ -5°~+23° 90˚ It is normal that the monitor slightly shakes while you adjust the viewing angle. 4. The OSD menu item will automatically rotate when the monitor rotates.
2.7 Connecting the cables Connect the cables according to the following instructions: • To connect the power cord: Connect one end of the power cord securely to the monitor’s AC input port, the other end to a power outlet. • To connect the HDMI/DisplayPort/USB Type-C/USB Type-A cable: a. Plug one end of the HDMI/DisplayPort/USB Type-C/USB Type-A cable to the monitor’s HDMI/DisplayPort/USB Type-C/USB Type-A jack. b.
When these cables are connected, you can choose the desired signal from the Input Select item in the OSD menu. 2.8 Turning on the monitor Set the AC switch to ON position (A), and then press the button (B). See page 1-3 for the location of the Power button. The power indicator lights up in white to show that the monitor is ON.

Highlight the desired function and press the Menu (5-way) button to activate it.
3.1.2 1. OSD function introduction ProArt Preset This function contains 14 sub-functions you can select for your preference. Each mode has the Reset selection, allowing you to maintain your setting or return to the preset mode. • HDR_PQ Rec2020: Presents ST2084 with Rec.2020 color gamut and D65 white point. »» PQ Optimized: Delivers the optimized HDR performance of this display with as much accuracy as with ST2084 in terms of display luminance capability. »» PQ Clip: Preserves PQ curve till displaying maximum luminance with accuracy. ST2084 code value with higher than display maximum will be mapped to the maximum luminance. »» PQ Basic: Presents HDR performance of general HDR supported displays.

2. ProArt Palette Set a desired color setting from this menu. To activate this function, you need to disable the Ambient Effect function. When the HDR function is enabled, the maximum brightness level is automatically set to 500nits as default. • Contrast: The adjusting range is from 0 to 100.

Color Reset: Resets the color related settings. »» Current mode color reset: Resets the color settings of the current color mode to the factory default value. »» All modes color reset: Resets the color settings of all color modes to the factory default value. Image Set the image related setting from this menu. Image Standard Mode HDMI-1 ASUS PA32DC 3840x2160@ 60Hz Sharpness Aspect Control Input Range Blue Light Filter • Sharpness: The adjusting range is from 0 to 100.
Please refer to the following to alleviate eye strains: • Users should take some time away from the display if working for long hours. It is advised to take short breaks (at least 5 mins) after around 1 hour of continuous working at the computer. Taking short and frequent breaks is more effective than a single longer break. • To minimize eye strain and dryness in your eyes, users should rest the eye periodically by focusing on objects that are far away. • Eye exercises can help to reduce eye strain.
5. PIP/PBP Setting The PIP/PBP Setting allows you to open up another sub-window connected from another video source besides the main-window from your original video source. By activating this function, the monitor displays up to 2 pictures from different video sources. To activate this function, you need to disable the HDR function.
6. QuickFit Plus Allows users to have a preview of the document or photo layout directly on the screen without printing the test copies. To activate this function, you need to disable the PIP/PBP mode. 7. Input Select In this function, you can select your desired input source. • USB Setup: Configures the USB Type-C port setting. The USB Setup parameter affects the output resolution only when the source is connected to the USB Type-C port. Due to the technological differences between USB 2.0 and USB 3.2, the maximum USB data throughput (bandwidth and other related characteristics) varies and therefore influences the maximum output resolution. »» USB 2.0 (4K2K @60Hz): The data transfer rate according to the 2.
• Screen Sync: If enabled, the system will keep the current settings after the device wakes up from standby or sleeping mode (via DP or Type-C connection). • Key Lock: Selects “On” to disable all function keys. To cancel the Key Lock function, press the Close button for more than five seconds. See page 1-2 for the location of the Close button. • Power Indicator: Turns the power LED indicator on/off. • Ambient Effect: Configures the ambient effect settings.
9. Shortcut Defines the functions for Shortcut 1 and 2 buttons. When a certain function is selected or activated, your shortcut key may not support. Available function choices for shortcut: Blue Light Filter, Brightness, ProArt Preset, HDR, PIP/PBP Setting, Color Temp., Volume, User Mode 1, User Mode 2.
