4.9 Remote Desktop (General)
The
Remote Desktop
function provides a flexible interface for device
management through the desktop accessed in ASUS Control Center Express.
If your client device supports remote management controller (RTL8117), a window
should appear allowing you to select between
General
or
KVM - 8117
, if so, select
General
and click on
Yes
to remotely control the client device; else it should enter
the remote desktop directly. Please refer to
5.9 Remote Desktop (KVM - 8117)
for more information on using the remote desktop in
KVM - 8117
mode.
The client device should be powered on and logged into an OS environment.
To end the remote control session, scroll to the top of the page, then click on

Remote Desktop.
