3. (Optional) Click
Select File
to upload a .bin file.
4. Click
Apply
to execute the command. The progress of the command can be
viewed in the mission center. Results of completed commands will be shown
in the IPMI Tool window.
If the command was executed on multiple devices, you can click on the name
of a device in the Device List to view the result of the completed command.
5. (Optional) Click
Clear
to clear the IPMI Tool window.
5.10.9 IPMI Serial-over-LAN (SOL)
This item allows you to access the serial console over Serial-over-LAN (SOL).
1. Click
Start
to start Serial-over-LAN via BMC on the client device.
2. Click
Stop
to end Serial-over-LAN via BMC on the client device.
1. Select the desired command from the drop down menu.
2. Input any required and/or optional command parameters into the input box.
• The command parameters will be displayed in the input box.

?
to view additional information about the selected command.
