Chapter 2: Hardware Information
4. Connect the Power On/Off cable and Reset cables to the MB pins on the Panel header
(
PANEL
) on the IPMI expansion card then connect them to the Panel header on the
motherboard. Ensure the cables are connected such that the red cable is closest to the
PCB.
The Power On/Off cable and Reset cable are connected in opposite orientations
when connecting them to the Panel header on your motherboard. For more
information on the pin definitions of the Panel header on your motherboard,
please refer to your motherboard’s user guide.

5. Connect the Power On/Off cable and Reset cables from the chassis to the CHA pins on
the Panel header. Ensure the cables are connected such that the red cable is closest to
the PCB.
