5. USB 3.2 Gen 1 (up to 5Gbps) connector (20-1 pin U32G1_12)
This connector allows you to connect a USB 3.2 Gen 1 module for additional USB
3.2 Gen 1 front or rear panel ports. With an installed USB 3.2 Gen 1 module, you can
enjoy all the benets of USB 3.2 Gen 1 including faster data transfer speeds of up to
5 Gb/s, faster charging time for USB-chargeable devices, optimized power efciency,
and backward compatibility with USB 2.0.
The USB 3.2 Gen 1 module is purchased separately.
4. USB 3.2 Gen 2 (up to 10Gbps) front panel connector (U32G2_C11)
This connector allows you to connect a USB 3.2 Gen 2 module for additional USB 3.2
Gen 2 ports. The latest USB 3.2 Gen 2 connectivity provides data transfer speeds of
up to 10 Gbps. The next-generation standard is completely backward-compatible with
your existing USB devices.
The plugged USB 3.2 Gen 1 device may run on xHCI or EHCI mode depending on the
operating system’s setting.
