This connector is for a chassis-mounted front panel audio I/O module that
supportsHDaudiostandard.ConnectoneendofthefrontpanelaudioI/O
module cable to this connector.
• Werecommendthatyouconnectahigh‑denitionfrontpanelaudiomoduleto
thisconnectortoavailofthemotherboard’shigh‑denitionaudiocapability.
• Ifyouwanttoconnectahigh‑denitionfrontpanelaudiomoduletothis
connector,settheFrontPanelTypeitemintheBIOSsetupto[HDAudio].By
default,thisconnectorissetto[HDAudio].
