LPC Debug header
ThisheaderallowsconnectiontoaLPCdebugcard.

debugheaderordering.
TPM connector (14-1 pin TPM)
ThisconnectorsupportsaTrustedPlatformModule(TPM)system,whichcan
securelystorekeys,digitalcerticates,passwords,anddata.ATPMsystemalso
helpsenhancenetworksecurity,protectsdigitalidentities,andensuresplatform
integrity.
LPT connector (26-1 pin LPT)
TheLPT(LinePrintingTerminal)connectorsupportsdevicessuchasaprinter.
LPTstandardizesasIEEE1284,whichistheparallelportinterfaceonIBMPC-
compatiblecomputers.
Serial port connectors (10-1 pin COM)
Connecttheserialportmodulecabletoanyoftheseconnectors,theninstallthe
moduletoaslotopeningatthebackofthesystemchassis.
Front panel audio connector (10-1 pin AAFP)
Thisconnectorisforachassis-mountedfrontpanelaudioI/Omodulethatsupports
HDAudiostandard.ConnectoneendofthefrontpanelaudioI/Omodulecableto
thisconnector.
• Werecommendthatyouconnectahigh-denitionfrontpanelaudiomoduletothis
connectortoavailofthemotherboard’shigh-denitionaudiocapability.
• Ifyouwanttoconnectahigh-denitionfrontpanelaudiomoduletothisconnector,
settheFrontPanelTypeitemintheBIOSsetupto[HDAudio].Bydefault,this
connectorissetto[HDAudio].
PCI slot
ThePCIslotsupportscardssuchasaLANcard,SCSIcard,USBcard,andother
cardsthatcomplywithPCIspecications.
Mono out header (2-pin MONO_OUT)
Thisinternalmonooutheaderallowsconnectiontoaninternal,lowpowerspeaker
forbasicsystemsoundcapability.Youcanconnecta3Wspeakertothisheader,
butthesubsystemiscapableofdrivingaspeakerloadof2Ohmsat2Watts(rms).
