1.5.2.6 Adding VLANs
 To add VLANs:
Step 1. Make sure that the 8021.q module is loaded.
# modprobe 8021q
Step 2. Add VLAN.
# vconfig add eth2 7
Added VLAN with VID == 7 to IF -:eth2:-
#
Step 3. Configure an IP address.
# ifconfig eth2.7 7.4.3.220
Step 4. Examine the GID table.
# cat /sys/class/infiniband/mlx4_0/ports/2/gids/0
fe80:0000:0000:0000:0202:c9ff:fe08:e811
#
# cat /sys/class/infiniband/mlx4_0/ports/2/gids/1
fe80:0000:0000:0000:0202:c900:0708:e811
1.5.2.7 Running an - ibv_rc_pingpong Test on the VLAN
Step 1. Start the server.
# ibv_rc_pingpong -g 1 -i 2
