1.5 Replacing the card bracket
The Ethernet card is bundled with a full-length bracket and a low-profile bracket. By default,
the card is pre-installed with a full-length bracket.
3. Align and insert the Ethernet card into the mounting hole of the replacement card
bracket. Ensure that the screw holes on the Ethernet card are aligned with the screw
holes on the card bracket.
4. Secure the Ethernet card to the replacement card bracket with the screws that you
removed earlier.
Default card bracket
To replace the card bracket:
1. Place the Ethernet card on a flat and stable surface with the heatsink facing upwards.
2. Remove the two screws that secure the Ethernet card to the card bracket, then remove
the card bracket.
