PE Series
Functional Earth Ground (on selected models)
The Functional Earth Ground provides you with a
grounding point.
Headphone jack
This port allows you to connect amplified speakers or
headphones.
USB 2.0 port (on selected models)
The USB (Universal Serial Bus) port is compatible with
USB 2.0 or USB 1.1 devices, such as keyboards, pointing
devices, flash disk drives, external HDDs, speakers,
cameras, and printers.
Serial (COM/CAN) connector (on selected models only)
The 9-pin RS-232/DB9/CAN bus serial (COM/CAN)
connector allows you to connect devices that have serial
ports, such as bar code scanners, modems, and printers,
and also devices with a Controller Area Network (CAN)
interface, such as electronic control units (ECU). Refer to
the table below for the pin denitions of the dierent
COM/CAN connectors.
NOTE: Default set to RS-232.
