Using O!Direct
O!Direct allows you to stream media les such as movies, music, or photos from a
computer in a wired or wireless network to a high-denition external display.
• Ensure that your computer and your O!PLAY TV PRO are on the same
subnet mask.
• Ensure that your wired or wireless network connection is working properly.
• Ensure that the rewall and any anti-virus software/utility in your computer
are disabled.
Installing O!Direct
To install O!Direct:
1. Place the bundled support CD in your computer’s optical disk drive.
2. Double-click the setup.exe le from the O!Direct folder.
3 Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
• If your O!PLAY TV PRO current rmware version does not include O!Direct,
download the O!Direct utility. from the ASUS Support site at
http://support.asus.com
• O!Direct is only available for computers running on Windows
®
OS.
• You need to reboot your computer after installing or updating O!Direct.
• You can uninstall O!Direct on your computer from Windows® Control Panel.
Streaming media les via O!Direct
To stream media les via O!Direct:
1. From the Home screen, press the left/right keysleft/right keys / to navigate to Setup,
then press .
2. SelectSelect Network > Wireless Setup and press .
3. To run a test connection, select O!Direct from the list and press .
4. Click OK on the O!Direct Net Info screen.
5. Press the Home key to go back to the Home page of your O!PLAY TV
PRO.
6. On your computer, select O!Direct from the network list.
7. On your computer, right-click the media le, and click O!Direct.
