2.4 M.2 Connectors

The NUC Pro Chassis Element has 2 M.2 connectors.

• The M.2 connector parallel to the 300-pin connector has support for both PCIe NVMe and

SATA storage solutions.

• The M.2 connector perpendicular to the 300-pin connector has support for PCIe NVMe

storage solutions only.

NOTE

The Intel® NUC 8 Essential Compute Element CM8PCB4R only has support for NVMe based

storage solutions when used with either of the M.2 connectors.
