Managing your NAS via its Web GUI
3.1 Logging in the Web GUI
The Web Graphics User Interface (Web GUI) is a web management system that allows you
to manage your NAS using a web browser.
To log in the Web GUI of your NAS:
1. Launch a web browser, key in http://[NAS name] or http://[NAS IP], and press
<Enter>. The login page of the Web GUI appears.
NOTES:
The default NAS name is NAS-M25. You can customize the NAS name using Setup
Wizard and nd the NAS IP using NAS Discovery.
You may also launch the login page using NAS Discovery. See
1.5.3 NAS Discovery
for
details.
By default, Mac and Linux do not support the WINS protocol. If you are using a computer
running on Mac or Linux, you can only use http://[NAS IP] to enter the NAS web GUI.
2. From the home screen, click an icon.
NOTES:
The icons may vary depending on the add-in applications that you install.
For more details about the icons, refer to
