4.4.2 PCH-FW Configuration
The items in this menu allow you to configure Management Engine
Technology Parameters.
TPM Device Selection
This item allows you to select the TPM device.
[dTPM] Discrete TPM
[PTT] Intel Platform Trust Technology firmware TPM
NOTE:
• When [dTPM] is selected, PTT (firmware TPM) will be disabled,
and the TPM device connected to the SPI TPM connector on the
motherboard will be enabled. If no TPM device is connected, the
TPM feature will be disabled.
• When [PTT] is selected, PTT (firmware TPM) is enabled.
WARNING! When [dTPM] is selected, PTT (firmware TPM) will be
disabled and all data saved on it will be lost.
