Using the Wake-on-LAN
Ifyouwanttowakeupyourcomputerusingthesmartdevice,ensurethatyouenablethe
computer’sWake-on-LANsettings.
Tocongureyourcomputer’sWake-on-LANsettings:
1. FromBIOSSetup,gotoAdvanced > APMConfigurationthensetPower On By
PCI-E/PCIto[Enabled].

OS,dothefollowing:
a. Onyourdesktop,clickStart,right-clickComputer> Managetolaunchthe
ComputerManagementscreen.
b. ClickDevice Managertoviewalltheinstalleddevices.
c. ClickNetwork Adapters,right-clicktheinstalledmodulecard(Broadcomor
Atheros)thenclickProperties > Power Managementtab.
d. TicktheseitemsAllow this device to wake up the computerandOnly allow a
magic packet to wake the computer.
