3-1 Setting the date, time, and alarm
To set the date and time
1. On the Home screen, press Start > Settings > Clock & Alarm > Date and Time.
2. Enter the Time zone, Date, and Time. To change the time from AM to PM, highlight AM and
press the P key.
To set the alarm
1. On the Home screen, press Start > Settings > Clock and Alarm > Alarm.
2. Enter the correct information and press Done.
To change regional settings
1. On the Home screen, press Start > Settings > More > Regional Settings.
2. In Language, select your preferred language for the phone interface and menus.
3. In Locale, select your current location. After a location is selected, options like date, time, and
currency will be changed accordingly.
4. Press Done after you have finished making changes.
NOTE To activate the new language settings, you need to turn the phone off and turn it back on.
