11-1 System setting
Power Management
Use Power Management to check the battery level and to configure power-saving settings, such as
backlight and display time-outs.
1. On the Home screen, press Start > Settings > More > Power Management.
2. Adjust the following options:
• In Backlight time out on battery, set the amount of time for the phone to be idle before the
backlight turns off.
• In Backlight time out on AC, set the amount of time for the phone to be idle before the
backlight turns off when using AC power.
• In Display time out, set the time limit for the phone to be idle before the screen turns off.
3. Press Done.
Brightness adjustment
You can reduce the screen brightness for power saving.
1. On the Home screen, press Start > Settings > More > Brightness.
2. Adjust the brightness by pressing the Left and Right navigation keys.
