Chapter 2: Getting started
[AHCI] Set to [AHCI] when you want the SATA hard disk drives to use the AHCI
(Advanced Host Controller Interface). The AHCI allows the onboard storage
driver to enable advanced Serial ATA features that increases storage
performance on random workloads by allowing the drive to internally
optimize the order of commands.
Aggressive LPM Support [Auto]
This item appears only when you set SATA Mode Selection to [AHCI] and allows you to
enable or disable PCH entering link power state aggressively. Conguration options: [Auto]
[Disabled] [Enabled]
S.M.A.R.T. Status Check [Enabled]
S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology) is a monitor system. When
read/write of your hard disk errors occur, this feature allows the hard disk to report warning
messages during the POST. Conguration options: [Enabled] [Disabled]
Hot Plug [Disabled]
These items appear only when you set the SATA Mode Selection item to [AHCI] and allow
you to enable/disable SATA Hot Plug Support.

Allows you to enable or disable VT-d function on MCH. Conguration options: [Enabled]

CPU Audio Device [Enabled]

Graphics Conguration
Allows you to select a primary display from iGPU, and PCIe graphical devices.
iGPU Memory [Auto]
Allows you to select the amount of system memory allocated to DVMT 5.0 used by the

Render Standby [Auto]
Allows you to enable or disable Intel
®
Graphics Render Standby support to reduce

Allows you to enable or disable IGD video output to onboard LVDS. Conguration
