M.2 SATA mode [Disabled]
[Enabled] M.2 (SATA) devices are enabled when SATA6G_4(Gray) devices are
disabled.
[Disabled] SATA6G_4(Gray) will be enabled when no M.2(SATA) devices are
installed.
SATAExpress SRIS Support [Auto]
This item allows you to set the SATAExpress SRIS support.
[Auto] The system automatically adjust the SRIS (Separate Reference Clock
Independent Spread Spectrum Clocking Architecture) support for
connected SATA Express devices.
[Disabled] Select this option for ASUS RUNWAY SATA Express bridge card.
SATA Mode Selection [AHCI]
Allows you to set the SATA conguration.
[Disabled] Disables the SATA function.
[IDE] Set to [IDE] when you want to use the Serial ATA hard disk drives as
Parallel ATA physical storage devices.
[AHCI] Set to [AHCI] when you want the SATA hard disk drives to use the AHCI
(Advanced Host Controller Interface). The AHCI allows the onboard storage
driver to enable advanced Serial ATA features that increases storage
performance on random workloads by allowing the drive to internally
optimize the order of commands.
[RAID] Set to [RAID Mode] when you want to create a RAID conguration from the
SATA hard disk drives.
Aggressive LPM Support [Disabled]
This item appears only when you set the previous item to [AHCI] and allows you to enable
or disable PCH entering link power state aggressively. Conguration options: [Disabled]
[Enabled]
S.M.A.R.T. Status Check [On]
S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology) is a monitor system. When
read/write of your hard disk errors occur, this feature allows the hard disk to report warning
messages during the POST. Conguration options: [On] [Off]
Hot Plug [Disabled] (SATA 6G 1~6 [Gray])
These items appear only when you set the SATA Mode Selection item to [AHCI] and allow
you to enable/disable SATA Hot Plug Support. Conguration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
