25.28 ip ospf authentication-key AUTH_KEY
Syntax ip ospf authentication-key [AUTH_KEY]
Parameters AUTH_KEY Character string, max. 8 characters

Default
Description Set OSPF authentication key to a simple password for a specic
IP interface. After setting AUTH_KEY, all OSPF packets are
authenticated. AUTH_KEY has length up to 8 chars.
Examples ASUS(cong-if)# ip ospf authentication-key abcdefgh

Syntax ip ospf cost <1-65535>
Parameters
Command Mode Interface conguration mode
No/clear no ip ospf cost
Show show ip ospf interface [IFNAME]
Default The default is 1
Description Set link cost for the specied interface. The cost value is set to
router-LSA’s metric eld and used for SPF calculation.
Examples ASUS(cong-if)# ip ospf cost 100
