4.8.7 Trafc control
Trafc control prevents the switch bandwidth from ooding packets includ-
ing broadcast packets, multicast packets and the unicast packets because
of destination address lookup failure. The limit number is a threshold to
limit the total number of the checked type packets. For example, if broad-
cast and multicast are enabled, the total trafc amount for those two types
will not exceed the limit value.
Broadcast
: Choose disable or input a number for rate limit of
broadcast packets
Multicast
: Choose disable or input a number for rate limit of multicast
packets
Destination Lookup Failure
: Choose disable or input a number for
rate limit of destination lookup failure packets
Selects an interface and assigns desirable settings, then click Modify.
Click OK to make the settings effective. Click Reload to refresh the set-
tings to current value.
