2. M.2 socket 3
This socket allows you to install an M.2 (NGFF) SSD module.
• This socket supports M Key and 2242/2260/2280/22110 storage devices.
• When the M.2 Socket 3 is operating in SATA mode, SATA port 1 will be disabled.
• When using Intel
®
Desktop Responsiveness technologies with PCIe M.2 device,
ensure to set up the Windows
®
UEFI operating system under RAID mode.
The M.2 (NGFF) SSD module is purchased separately

3. USB 2.0 connectors (10-1 pin USB910, USB1112)
These connectors are for USB 2.0 ports. Connect the USB module cable to any of
these connectors, then install the module to a slot opening at the back of the system
chassis. These USB connectors comply with USB 2.0 specications and supports up to
480Mbps connection speed.
Never connect a 1394 cable to the USB connectors. Doing so will damage the
motherboard!
The USB 2.0 module is purchased separately.
