The mounting brackets, screws, and rack mount screws are purchased separately.
Getting started
Placement options
• DO NOT place any device on top of the switch.
• Leave enough space around the switch for adequate ventilation. Ensure that the switch
isplacedinalocationthatmeetstheenvironmentalspecications.RefertoTechnical
specications on page 2 for more details.
Desktop placement
Puttheswitchonaatandstablesurface.
Mounting the switch on a rack
To mount the switch on a rack:
1. Locate the four screw holes on both sides of the switch.
2. Align the mounting brackets with the switch screw holes.
3. Secure the mounting brackets with screws.
4. Place the switch in the rack, then secure both sides with rack mount screws.
