2.6 Cable connections
• The bundled system cables are pre-connected before shipment. You do not need to
disconnect these cables unless you remove the pre-installed components to install
additional devices.
• Refer to Chapter 4 for detailed information on the connectors.
Pre-connected system cables
1. 20-pin SSI power connector (from the power distribution board to the motherboard)
2. 8-pin SSI power connector (from the power distribution board to the motherboard)
3. Power supply PMBus connector (from the power supply to the motherboard)
4. System fan connectors (from motherboard FRNT_FAN6, and FRNT_FAN7 to system
fans)
5. Auxiliary Panel connectors (from motherboard to front I/O board)
6. Panel connector (from motherboard to front I/O board)
7. ISATA connectors (from motherboard to SATA backplane board)
