2.7 Cable connections
• The bundled system cables are pre-connected before shipment. You do not need to
disconnect these cables unless you are going to remove pre-installed components to
install additional devices.
• Refer to the
Motherboard Information
chapter for detailed information on the
connectors.
Pre-connected system cables
1. 24-pin EATXPWR power connector (connected to the power distribution board)
2. 8-pin BPPWR2 power connector (connected to the backplane, on selected models)
3. VGA connector (connected to the front I/O board)
4. System panel connector (connected to the front I/O board)
5. System fan connectors (from motherboard SYS_FAN1-7 to the system fans)
