Use the following methods to enable the built-in webcam and microphone.
• Go to Control Panel > Scanners and Cameras > USB Video Device #2 and follow the
onscreen instructions.
• Launch the Eee Cam application from the desktop. Refer to the Software
Manual for details.
• Start video chats with Windows® Live Messenger or Skype™.
To optimize the microphone performance through Realtek HD Audio Manager:
1. Double-click in the notification
area to open Realtek HD Audio
Manager.
2. Click the Microphone tab and click
Acoustic Echo Cancellation to enhance
the microphone performance.
3. When done, click OK.

Digital Microphone (Built-in)
The built-in digital microphone can be used for video conferencing, voice narrations,
audio recordings, and multimedia applications.

The 20-inch LCD display, with an optimal resolution of 1600 x 900, features touch
