4.2.5 Update Software
This option allows for rmware upgrades from a locally stored le.
Click the Update Software tab to display the following.
1. Obtain an updated software image le from your ISP.
2. Select the conguration from the drop-down menu.
Conguration options:
No change – upgrade software directly.
Erase current cong – If the router has save_default
conguration, this option will erase the current conguration and
restore to save_default conguration after software upgrade.
Erase All – Router will be restored to factory default conguration
after software upgrade.
3. Enter the path to the image le location in the box below or
click the "Browse" button to locate the image le.
4. Click the Update Software button once to upload and install
the le.
NOTE: The update process will take about 2 minutes to complete.
The device will reboot and the browser window will refresh to the
default screen upon successful installation. It is recommended that you
compare the Software Version on the Device Information screen with
the rmware version installed, to conrm the installation was successful.
