2.1 xDSL Router Setup
IMPORTANT!
• Use a wired connection when setting up your wireless router to
avoid possible setup problems.
• Before setting up your ASUS wireless router, do the following:
• If you are replacing an existing DSL modem, disconnect it from
your network.
• Disconnect the cables/wires from your existing modem, and
connect them to the corresponding ports on ASUS wireless
modem router.
• Use a RJ11 cable shorter than 10m since extending the length of
the cable may decrease the DSL speed.
