6.3 LAN driver installation
This section provides the instructions on how to install Intel
®
Gigabit LAN controller
drivers.
6.3.1 Windows 2000/Server 2003
To install the Intel
®
Gigabit LAN controller driver on a Windows
®
2000/ Server 2003
OS:
1. Restart the computer, and then log on with
Administrator
privileges.
2. Insert the motherboard/system support CD to the optical drive. The CD
automatically displays the
Drivers
menu if Autorun is enabled in your
computer.
• Windows
®
automatically detects the LAN controllers and displays
window. Click
Cancel
to close this window.
• If
Autorun
is NOT enabled in your computer, browse the contents of the
support CD to locate the le
AUTORUN.EXE
from the
\Drivers\Intel 82563EB
folder. Double-click the
AUTORUN.EXE
and
follow step 4 to run the installation.
3. Click the
Intel
®
PRO/1000 EB Network Connection
option.
