1. RemovetheUSBashdevice.
2. InserttheUSBashdeviceintoaUSBportonyourPC.
3. Go to the OPAX_xxxxxx folder to obtain the report and log.
Possible causes for an update failure include:
• Less than 50 MB free space on the USB ash device.
• The ASUS DS300f G2 rmware image is invalid.
• A background activity is running.

This feature applies only to ASUS Storage-supported physical drives. For a list of supported drives, go to ASUS

IfyouhavephysicaldrivesinyourRAIDsystem thatarenotASUSStorage-supported,followthermware
update procedure from the drive manufacturer.

DownloadthelatestrmwareimagelefromASUSStoragesupport:
http://www.ASUS Storage.com/support/ and save it to your Host PC or TFTP server.
ToupdatethermwareonASUSStorage-supportedphysicaldrives:
1. Click the Administration tab.
2. Click the Firmware Update icon.
3. Click the PD Firmware Update tab.
4. Choose a download option:
•
LocalFilethroughHTTP – Click the Browse button, locate the rmware
image le, click the le to choose it, then click the Open button.
•
TFTPServer – Enter the TFTP Server host name or IP address, port number and le name.
5. Click the Next button.
6. Click the Submit button.
The progress of the update displays.
Warning
DoNOTpowerofftheRAIDsubsystemduringtheupdate!
DoNOTmovetoanyotherscreenuntilthermwareupdateoperationis
completed!
When the update is completed a message tells you to reboot the subsystem.
7. Click the OK button.
