1.7.2 Internal connectors
1. Serial port connector (10-1 pin COM)
This connector is for a serial (COM) port. Connect the serial port module cable to this
connector, and then install the module to a slot opening at the back of the system
chassis.
2. M.2 socket 3
This socket allows you to install an M.2 (NGFF) SSD module.
• This socket supports M Key and 2242/2260/2280 storage devices.
• When the M.2 Socket 3 is operating in SATA mode, SATA port 1 will be disabled.
• When using Intel
®
Desktop Responsiveness technologies with PCIe M.2 device,
ensure to set up UEFI driver under RAID mode.
