• Expand Array. Restripes data in your array across additional,
unconfigured drives to expand the capacity of the array.
For example, open New Configuration as shown in Figure 4.9.

The new configuration created is based on the total number of drives
discovered by the Global Array Manager Transition Tool. The automatic
configuration feature uses the maximum number of drives, provides a
fault tolerant RAID level when able, and creates a hot spare drive for
drive failure protection. The number of logical drives created is
dependent on the total number of physical drives discovered.
The Finish screen displays (Figure 4.10).
