3.2Printer Sharing in Windows 98
In order for a printer to be shared across the network, it has to be set as the network
printer. Follow the instructions below to set a printer as a network printer:
1. Click the “Start” button, point to the “Settings”, and then click “Printers”.
2. In the Printers window, click the printer you want to share.
3. Click “Sharing…..” on the “File” menu.
4. Click the Sharing tab, then click “Shared As”, and if necessary, enter a
password.
