Charging your ASUS Phone
Your ASUS Phone comes partially charged but you must charge it fully before using it for the rst
time. Read the following important notices and cautions before charging your device.
IMPORTANT!

and prevent the risk of injury.
• Forsafetypurposes,useONLY the bundled power adapter and cable to charge your ASUS Phone.
• PeelotheprotectivelmontheACpoweradapterandcablebeforeusingitwithyourdevice.
• EnsuretoplugtheACpoweradaptertoacompatiblepoweroutlet.YoucanplugtheACpower
adapter to any compatible 100~240 V outlet.
• TheoutputvoltageoftheACpoweradapterforthisdeviceisDC5V,2A.
• WhenusingyourASUSPhonewhileplugged-intoapoweroutlet,thepoweroutletmustbenear
your device and easily accessible.
• DonotuseorexposeyourASUSPhonenearliquids,rain,ormoisture.
• DonotuseyourASUSPhonenearheatingequipmentorinplaceswherethereislikelihoodofhigh
temperature.
• KeepyourASUSPhoneawayfromsharpobjects.
• DonotplaceobjectsontopofyourASUSPhone.
CAUTION!
• Whilecharging,yourASUSPhonecanbecomewarm.Thisisnormal,however,ifyourdevice
becomes unusually hot, disconnect the cable from your device and send the device, including the
AC power adapter and cable to an ASUS-qualied service personnel.
• TopreventanydamagetoyourASUSPhone,ACadapter,orcable, ensure that the cable, AC adapter,
and your device are connected properly before charging.
WARNING!
• Do not modify or remanufacture, attempt to insert foreign objects into the battery, immerse or
expose to water or other liquids, expose to re, explosion or other hazard.
• Only use the battery with a charging system that has been qualied with the system per CTIA
Certication Requirements for Battery System Compliance to IEEE 1725. Use of an unqualied
battery or charger may present a risk of re, explosion, leakage, or other hazard.
• Replace the battery only with another battery that has been qualied with the system per this
standard, IEEE-Std-1725. Use of an unqualied battery may present a risk of re, explosion, leakage
or other hazard.
• Avoid dropping the phone or battery. If the phone or battery is dropped, especially on a hard
surface, and the user suspects damage, take it to a service center for inspection.
• Improper battery use may result in a re, explosion or other hazard.
