3.9.6 VLAN
A VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) is a logical network created
within a larger physical network. VLANs allow you to segment a
network into smaller, virtual sub-networks, which can be used to
isolate trac and improve network performance.
To set up VLAN:
1. From the navigation panel, go to Settings > LAN > VLAN.
2. Click the Prole tab and then to create a VLAN prole. You
can assign your own VLAN ID.
3. Port isolation restricts the access right of dierent devices in
the same VLAN. You are now creating a “VLAN-only-Network”,
which means a network with VID but without DHCP.
4. Click VLAN tab to select a port with specic prole and mode
(Trunk / Access).
