Formatting memory card
If you installed a new memory card or a memory card that was formatted using a computer, you may need to
format your memory card on the device to ensure compatibility with your device.
CAUTION: If your memory card contains data, ensure to create a backup of all important data stored in the
memory card before formatting it.
To format your memory card:
1. From the Home screen, go to All Apps > Settings > Storage > Format SD card.
2. Select Erase Everything.
3. You can preview the contents of your memory card from All Apps > File Manager.
