Seagate HDD Test Program
Step 6: There are four options
1. Short Read test : Random read & Test time is in 30 mins;
2. Short Write test : Clear MBR sector to avoid Recovery system fail. If perform this
test, we must obtain the consent of customers.
3. Long Read test : Sequential read at all sectors.
4. Long Write test : All data on HDD will be erased, this test can repair the logical
bad sectors on HDD, but all data on HDD will be permanently erased. If perform
this test, we must obtain the consent of customers.
