4. Using the Notebook PC
Power Up Control (Sub-Menu)
The Power Up Control menu allows the user to specify events that are allowed to power up the Note-
book PC.
Wake Up On Modem: [Disabled]
This allows either settings of [Enabled] or [Disabled] for powering up the computer when the built-in
modem receives a call while the Notebook PC is OFF. NOTE: The computer cannot receive or transmit
data until the computer and applications are fully running. Thus connection cannot be made on the first
try. Configuration options are: [Disabled] [Enabled]
Wake Up On LAN: [Disabled]
This allows your computer to be booted from another computer via a network by sending a wake-up
frame or signal. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
Wake Up On Panel Open: [Disabled]
This allows your computer to be powered ON when the display panel is opened. Configuration options:
[Disabled] [Enabled]
Wake Up On USB: [Disabled]
This field allows you to use your USB device/s, if any, to power up your Notebook PC. Configuration
options are: [Disabled] [Enabled]
