Blocking messages
Block spam messages such as sales ad messages, or messages from unwanted senders.
1. From the Home screen, tap , then tap thread of the sender that you don’t want to receive
any message from.
2. Tap > People & options, then tap Block (phone number).
3. Tap Block to conrm.
Forwarding a message
You can forward a message to others.
1. From the Messenger app’s home screen, tap to open the message thread.
2. Tap and hold any of the messages from the thread, then tap on the top of the screen.
3. Select a contact that you wish to forward the message to from your top contacts, or tap New
message to select from your full contacts list.
4. When you’re done, tap to send the message. If you have more than one SIM card
installed, select the SIM account that you’re going to send your message from in advance. The
conversation will be forwarded as an MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) message.
NOTE:
• EnsurethatyouhaveMMSsubscriptionwithyourmobileserviceprovider.
• Ensurethatdataaccessisenabledonyourdevice.FromyourHomescreen,tap > Settings >
More > Celluar networks, then slide Data enabled to ON.
• Mobiledataandmessagingratesapplywhenforwardingconversationstoothers.
Other messaging options
When you open a message thread, you can tap and do any of these other options below.
Add contact
Tap to add this number to the Contacts app.
People & options
Tap to congure the general settings of the message thread.
Search
Tap and enter keywords in the Search eld to search in the conversation.
Archive
Tap to archive the conversation.
Delete
Tap to delete the conversation.
Help & feedback Tap this option to learn more about the Messenger app and send
feedback if you wish.
