Setup Mode
[Advanced Mode] This item allows you to go to Advanced Mode of the BIOS after
POST.
[EZ Mode] This item allows you to go to EZ Mode of the BIOS after POST.
Boot Sector (MBR/GPT) Recovery Policy
This item allows you to set the Boot Sector Policy.
[Auto Recovery] Follow UEFI Rule.
[Local User Control] You can enter setup page and select Boot Sector (MBR/GPT)
Recovery Policy to recovery MBR/GPT on the next boot time.
The following item appears only when Boot Sector (MBR/GPT) Recovery Policy is set to
[Local User Control].
Next Boot Recovery Action
Choose the (MBR/GPT) recovery action on the next boot.
Conguration options: [Skip] [Recovery]
CSM (Compatibility Support Module)
This item allows you to congure the CSM (Compatibility Support Module) items to fully
support the various VGA, bootable devices and add-on devices for better compatibility.
Launch CSM
[Auto] The system automatically detects the bootable devices and the add-
on devices for CSM support.
[Enabled] For better compatibility, enable the CSM to fully support the non-
UEFI driver add-on devices or the Windows
®
UEFI mode.
[Disabled] Disable the CSM to fully support the non-UEFI driver add-on devices
or the Windows
®
UEFI mode.
The following items appear only when Launch CSM is set to [Enabled].
Boot Device Control
This item allows you to select the type of devices that you want to boot.
Devices with the selected mode will appear in the boot priority list.
Conguration options: [UEFI and Legacy OPROM] [Legacy OPROM only]
[UEFI only]
Boot from Network Devices
This item allows you to select the type of onboard LAN controllers and
installed LAN cards. Network devices will run the selected type during the
system boot.
Conguration options: [Ignore] [Legacy only] [UEFI driver rst]
Boot from Storage Devices
This item allows you to select the type of storage devices to run rst during
the system boot. It is recommended to select either Legacy only or UEFI
drivers rst by the devices specication for better stability.
