6.6 CPU Storage Configuration
The items in this menu allow you to congure CPU storage congurations.
• This menu will appear only when an Intel
®
Core™ X-series Processors (6-core or
above) is installed.
• Due to CPU behavior, CPU RAID functions with Intel
®
CPU RSTe only supports Intel
®
Core™ X-series Processors (6-core or above) and Intel
®
SSD modules.
PCIEX16_1~3
[PCIE SSD X4 Card] When PCIE SSD X4 is selected, only storage devices will be
supported in this slot. Save your changes, exit the BIOS Setup
and reboot the system. Enter the BIOS Setup again and go to
Advanced menu > Intel Virtual RAID on CPU to congure your
settings.
[HYPER M.2 X16 (VROC)] When Hyper M.2 X16 for VROC mode is selected, only the
Hyper M.2 X16 card will be supported in this slot. Please check
the speed of your PCIEX16 slot before installing the Hyper M.2
X16 Card. Save your changes, exit the BIOS Setup and reboot
the system. Enter the BIOS Setup again and go to Advanced
menu > Intel Virtual RAID on CPU to congure your settings.
[HYPER M.2 X16 (data)] Supports up to 4 x M.2 drives via the Hyper M.2 X16 expansion
card without VROC support.
