SATA Mode Selection [AHCI]
Allows you to set the SATA conguration.
[AHCI] Set to [AHCI] when you want the SATA hard disk drives to use the AHCI
(Advanced Host Controller Interface). The AHCI allows the onboard storage
driver to enable advanced Serial ATA features that increases storage
performance on random workloads by allowing the drive to internally
optimize the order of commands.
[RAID] Set to [RAID Mode] when you want to create a RAID conguration from the
SATA hard disk drives.
The following items appear only when you set the SATA Mode Selection to [RAID].
CR#1/2/3 RST Pcie Storage Remapping [Disabled]
This item allows you to enable or disable the RST Pcie Storage Remapping feature.
Conguration options: [Auto] [Disabled] [Enabled]
Alternate ID [Disabled]
This item allows you to enable or disable the report for the alternate device ID.
Conguration options: [Auto] [Disabled] [Enabled]
Software Feature Mask Conguration
Allows you to congure the SWFM (Software Feature Mask) settings.
RAID 0 / RAID 1 / RAID 10 / RAID 5 [Enabled]
Allows you to enable or disable the RAID 0 /RAID 1/ RAID 10/ RAID 5 feature.
Conguration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
Intel Rapid Recovery Technology [Enabled]
Allows you to enable or disable the Intel Rapid Recovery Technology. Conguration
options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
OROM UI and Banner [Enabled]
When enabled, the OROM UI is shown. Conguration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
HDD Unlock [Enabled]
When enabled, the HDD password unlock feature is activated. Conguration options:
[Disabled] [Enabled]
Smart Response Technology [Enabled]
Allows you to enable or disable the Smart Response technology. Conguration options:
[Disabled] [Enabled]
OROM UI Normal Delay [2 sec]
Allows you to select the delay time of the OROM UI Splash screen in a normal status.
Conguration options: [2 sec] [4 sec] [6 sec] [8 sec]
Aggressive LPM Support [Disabled]
This item is designed for LPM (link power management) support with a better energy saving
conditions. When disabled, the hot plug function of SATA ports are disabled. Conguration
options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
