4.7.2 Traceroute
The Traceroute test (also known as trace route or tracert) will
trace the route that test packets take from one server destination
to another. The test results provide a list of hosts or IP addresses
showing the route taken by the test packets starting from the
selected monitoring location to the destination Domain or IP
(such as www.google.com) . Common uses of the Traceroute
test are network troubleshooting and to help identify routing
problems or rewalls that may be blocking access to a web site.
