Die X- DVB-S/FM Octopus – Karte dient zur Aufbe-
reitung von 8 digitalen SAT-Radio-Programmen von 2
unterschiedlichen Transpondern in acht normgerechte
UKW- Signale im Frequenzbereich 87,5-108 MHz.

urch die zum Einsatz kommende Direct Digital Tech-
nologie werden Audio-Parameter (IMA, Klirrfaktor
u.v.m.) erreicht, die bisher in der Kopfstellen-Kom-
paktklasse unvorstellbar waren. Die Karte besitzt eine
RDS-Einheit, mit deren Hilfe nach der Programmie-
rung der Sendername mit übermittelt wird. Zur Pege-
lanpassung auf gleichen Ausgangspegel besitzt jede
Karte separat für jedes Programm einen elektroni-
schen Pegelsteller.

SAT-digital Radio RDS-Identification
The X- DVB-S/FM Octopus card is designed for the
procession of 8 digital satellite Radio-programmes
from two different transponders, into 8 standard
FM-signals with in the frequency range 87,5-108
MHz. As one result of the direct digital technology,
audio parameters of inconceivable quality (inter-
modulation distance, distortion factor) can be rea-
ched. Thanks to the implemented RDS-unit after
programming the station name is transmitted in the
FM-channel. Each card features is an electronic
level control for the compensation of different
output-levels for each program separately.
