MiniMerc’s bright 8.4" active matrix color LCD
display and detachable shoulder strap make it
perfect for the user on the go. You can mount it
to your wheelchair or use its desktop stand. Its
battery lasts for up to 8 hours on one charge.
MiniMerc’s durable aluminum case, shock-
mounted hard drive, and moisture-resistant,
sealed touch screen stand up to even the most
active use. And, its One-year All-Inclusive
Warranty gives you the confidence to use
MiniMerc to its fullest.
Expandable
Use the MiniMerc’s external CD/RW drive to install
any Windows XP-compatible software and make
backup copies of your files. The CardBus slot gives
you DVD, modem, network, and cellular options.
With the optional CardBus Cable and WinDVD
software (see Add-ons), you can play DVDs.
Communication Board Sets
Functionally Speaking, developed by ATI, is a
3-set series of communication boards that gives
device users a powerful and flexible communica-
tion solution. Speaking Dynamically Pro is
required for use. Please refer to page 11 for a
detailed description.

MiniMerc
Like our popular Mercury device, MiniMerc is a
fully integrated computer and Alternative and
Augmentative Communication (AAC) device in a
smaller package. It gives users the power of com-
munication, knowledge, control, and independence.
Powerful
MiniMerc gives you all the power and almost all of
the same features of our popular Mercury device,
but weighs in at just 3.5 lbs., half the size and
weight of Mercury. Its powerful processor (667
MHz), ample storage space (30GB) and memory
(512MB), and Windows XP operating system make
it easy to create and save new documents, install
new software, and relax with your favorite games.
Accessible
You can access MiniMerc using a touch screen,
switch, joystick, on-screen keyboard, external
keyboard and mouse, or alternative pointer. Use

software with any switch to
access the Desktop and all your applications.
Environmental Control
Enjoy greater independence as you control your
entertainment system or household appliances.
Pre-programmed infrared signals for most brands
of televisions, VCRs, DVD players, satellite and
cable receivers are included, so you don’t have to
program them yourself. Ready-to-use X-10 com-
mands let you turn on and off lights and small
appliances (additional equipment required).
